Mexico's Roswell Featured on History Channel and Larry King Live Authors Noe Torres and Ruben Uriarte recently appeared the History Channel's UFO Hunters television series. The show, titled "Crash and Retrieval," was based on the research that the authors did for their book Mexico's Roswell: The Chihuahua UFO Crash. 2008 Roswalien Experience The authors presented 3 lectures at the International UFO Museum & Research Center, 114 N. Main, in Roswell, New Mexico, during the Roswell UFO Festival, held July 3-6, 2008. They also exhibited pieces from the airplane debris they found in the Chihuahuan Desert near Coyame, Mexico, where a UFO and small plane are said to have crashed on August 25, 1974. Authors Speak at Las Vegas Crash Retrieval Conference
Ruben Uriarte and Noe Torres spoke at "UFOlogy Firepower" Conference on Nov. 11 at the Tuscany Suites Hotel in Las Vegas. Their topic was "1974 Coyame, Mexico UFO Crash: New Revelations," during which the authors shared several important new developments that have occurred in this case since their book was published in May 2007. | Meet the Authors: Ruben Uriarte and Noe Torres  A graduate of Cal State University at Hayward with a degree in Psychology and Latin American Studies, Ruben Uriarte has been a member of MUFON (Mutual UFO Network) for over 20 years and is currently state director for Northern California. Formerly a state coordinator for Crop Circle Phenomena Research International and research director for Beyond Boundaries, a UFO tour company, Ruben is now the liasion between MUFON and its counterpart in Mexico, OMIFO. Ruben has been interviewed about UFOs on many radio and television programs, including the History Channel's UFO Files.
Noe Torres holds a Master's degree in Library Science from the University of Texas at Austin. His first book, published in 2005, was titled Ghost Leagues, and his second book, published in March of 2006, was Baseball's First Mexican-American Star. In addition to his sports-related books, he is working with Ruben Uriarte on a series of UFO-related titles.
